At UTokyo, undergraduate students choose a major after completing their first two years of study. This page shows the average female - male ratio before students choose a major, as well as the ratio in each field of study after they have chosen a major. Changes in time of the ratio averaged over all undergraduates are also shown.

The data is from The University of Tokyo Databook 2020 (the most comprehensive yearly publication on institutional data at UTokyo), released in September 2020.

Unless otherwise mentioned, the data shows values on 1 May 2020.
